Code of Conduct

 

The BILA Group Supplier Code of Conduct applies to all companies that supply products and/or services to companies within BILA Group. Suppliers are responsible for ensuring that their employees, as well as the employees of their subcontractors involved in deliveries to BILA Group, have read, understood and committed to complying with the principles set out in this Supplier Code of Conduct.

 

This Supplier Code of Conduct constitutes a material part of the contractual relationship between BILA Group and the supplier. Any failure to comply may result in the termination of the supplier relationship.

 

Suppliers are required to conduct their business in an ethical and responsible manner, comply with international conventions and principles - including the United Nations Global Compact - and support the UN’s 17 Sustainable Development Goals.

HUMAN RIGHTS

Principle 1: Businesses should support and respect the protection of internationally proclaimed human rights.

Principle 2: Businesses should ensure that they are not complicit in human rights abuses.

 

LABOUR

Principle 3: Businesses should uphold the freedom of association and the effective recognition of the right to collective bargaining.

Principle 4: Businesses should support the elimination of all forms of forced and compulsory labour.

Principle 5: Businesses should support the effective abolition of child labour.

Principle 6: Businesses should support the elimination of discrimination in respect of employment and occupation.

 

ENVIRONMENT

Principle 7: Businesses should support a precautionary approach to environmental challenges.

Principle 8: Businesses should undertake initiatives to promote greater environmental responsibility.

Principle 9: Businesses should encourage the development and diffusion of environmentally friendly technologies.

 

ANTI-CORRUPTION

Principle 10: Businesses should work against corruption in all its forms, including extortion and bribery.

 

Trade

The supplier must not trade or conduct business with Russia or Belarus, either directly or indirectly.
